Not Just Any Tequila

There is a difference in qualities of Tequilla. We all think of the differences when we compare wines. We know which one to choose if we want the cheap stuff. It isn’t as clear when you try to decide on what Tequila is best. The Tequila Guy is here to help us. In celebration of the Tequila Renaissance he is guiding us over to his blog. You can check the site for the Featured Tequila and see what he has to say. Today’s featured Tequila is Gran Centenario.

When you decide that you want to enjoy a better Tequila, get advice from The Tequila Guy. He explains how each producer takes time to add quality at each step of the tequila-making process - planting, harvesting, distillation, aging and bottling; a truly great bottle of tequila can be produced. When you want a Tequila that you can sit back and enjoy you will find it at The Tequilla Guy.

36 More Days

Hey Grandmas Betty and Myrna, when you come next month I want to take you to see the Hatteras lighthouse. It is the one you see in magazines and in pictures a lot. I’ve seen it on afghans!

If you think of anything else you want to see let me know. The Wright Brothers Center at Kittyhawk might be a fun visit.

Nothing Worse Than A Toothache

Well dang! Where was this stuff when I needed it?! I went 20 years with perfect teeth and then I became old. Well, my teeth seem old. I have rotten luck when I bite into hard things like hard candy or popcorn kernels.
I went to the movies with some friends and of course I bought popcorn. The only time I eat popcorn is when I go to the movies. There is no popcorn like movie popcorn! Ooops! Back to the reason for my dang!
I was engrossed in the movie. The plot was being set and crunch. I bit into a popcorn kernel and I felt this weird sensation. I had the sense to spit out whatever was rolling around on my tongue and it was part of a tooth! I don’t understand how I broke a tooth. It wasn’t like I had a filling or anything that weakend the tooth. I guess it was just time for things to start falling apart. I kept rubbing my tongue over the edges of what remained of my tooth. I know you are probably not supposed to do that but I couldn’t help it.
After the movie, everyone wanted to shoot some pool, so I joined them. I got a cold drink and sat down to talk. Oh my gosh! When I took a sip of my drink, I saw stars. It hurt so bad. The pain from the cold liquid going into the open space in that tooth was excrutiating.
If I had known about Dentemp OS, I would have put that piece of tooth back and at least had the hole covered. As it was, I was afraid to eat or drink anything. Of course, these things always happen on the weekend when you cannot get in to see a dentist. Dentemp OS is wonderful for temporary dental repair. It sure would have saved me from my agony.
It only takes 60 seconds for Dentemp OS to take hold. It is an amazing product. Everyone should have some in their medicine cabinet. There is no mixing involved and you can eat within 30 minutes of using it. That is really fast when you are hurting. It has been tested and is approved by the FDA for oral care.

Great Movie

Ok, I am finally ready to tell you why I liked the movie, The Kingdom. It is my kind of movie because of the action. I am so into action. The underlying story that the movie is about bothers me during these times of misconception. I mean, people are quick to judge when they do not understand another country’s beliefs. I go to the movies to be entertained. So, I was impressed with the photography and the stunts. I would recommend the movie to my friends.

Learning About Investing

Dad has been talking to me about the best ways to invest. I have been looking at information on the Internet and ran across information that caught my attention. The Wealth Expo is held for investors wanting to learn different and new ways to earn wealth. The Expo is sponsored by MyWallSt.net: Your Financial Social Network. Many well known investment professionals are keynote speakers at the three day event. I wish I could go. I don’t have any wealth yet so I could be a sponge with all the information I need to soak in. I want to learn to do the right things when I am able to invest.

Just in case I find the time and a way to get to the Expo, I am blogging this in my blog so the information is easy to find. Feel free to take note that the New York City event will be held from Oct 19-Oct 21, 2007.
Location: Jacob Javits Convention Center
655 West 34th Street
New York, NY 10001

The Itinerary is as follows:

Friday, 10/19: 1 p.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT w/ a cocktail hour to follow

Saturday, 10/20: 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT w/ a cocktail hour to follow

Sunday, 10/21: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. EDT (no cocktail hour)

I would love to sit in on Tom Barrett’s seminar, “Safe, Defensive and Profitable Investing”. I won’t have a lot to invest so I don’t want to take a lot of risk with my money. I also would be interested in listening to Jack Hough from Smart Money, speak. He is going to be talking about “Your Next Great Stock”. I would love to hear what he has to say. I have been reading about his process called stock screening. He says, “tomorrow’’s top-performing stocks are giving off clues today, and the world’’s most successful investors don”t wait to stumble upon those clues; they find them by searching the entire market in seconds using a process called stock screening.” I want to know more!

This Expo offers a wealth of information on investing.
