Learning About Investing

Dad has been talking to me about the best ways to invest. I have been looking at information on the Internet and ran across information that caught my attention. The Wealth Expo is held for investors wanting to learn different and new ways to earn wealth. The Expo is sponsored by MyWallSt.net: Your Financial Social Network. Many well known investment professionals are keynote speakers at the three day event. I wish I could go. I don’t have any wealth yet so I could be a sponge with all the information I need to soak in. I want to learn to do the right things when I am able to invest.

Just in case I find the time and a way to get to the Expo, I am blogging this in my blog so the information is easy to find. Feel free to take note that the New York City event will be held from Oct 19-Oct 21, 2007.
Location: Jacob Javits Convention Center
655 West 34th Street
New York, NY 10001

The Itinerary is as follows:

Friday, 10/19: 1 p.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT w/ a cocktail hour to follow

Saturday, 10/20: 9 a.m.-6:30 p.m. EDT w/ a cocktail hour to follow

Sunday, 10/21: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. EDT (no cocktail hour)

I would love to sit in on Tom Barrett’s seminar, “Safe, Defensive and Profitable Investing”. I won’t have a lot to invest so I don’t want to take a lot of risk with my money. I also would be interested in listening to Jack Hough from Smart Money, speak. He is going to be talking about “Your Next Great Stock”. I would love to hear what he has to say. I have been reading about his process called stock screening. He says, “tomorrow’’s top-performing stocks are giving off clues today, and the world’’s most successful investors don”t wait to stumble upon those clues; they find them by searching the entire market in seconds using a process called stock screening.” I want to know more!

This Expo offers a wealth of information on investing.
