It is so much fun to get together with all my friends and watch the game. It doesn’t matter what game because we are all from different states. Someone is going to be rooting for the teams on both sides. Last weekend was fun because my home state of Indiana was up against the state I am moving to, namely Florida. Ha! I was rooting for the Indiana team.

Watching sports on tv lets us test out our cooking on each other. That can be a good thing! I love watching soccer on seriea.tv. I can choose to watch it live or on-demand. The interviews with the players are always interesting because you get to know the players and coaches better. Hearing trivia like where they are from and their ages is something I like to know. Serie A is Italian soccer and maybe because I played soccer, I really get into watching the games. The price for Seria.tv is reasonable and so even on my budget it is affordable. The quality is very good. It makes it better than being there.

Our food is always good too. Besides the usual chips and pop, we have gotten into grilling! We are all going to have to start playing soccer to work off the yummy food!

Actually it was a spoof on so many movies that I could overlook the dumb comedy and was amused at the movies spoofed. Saw, Saw II, The Grudge were just a few movies spoofed. There were a few other spoofs like when it made fun of how Tom Cruise acted on the Oprah show. What a ditz.

Three more weeks! Actually, twenty more days til I see my mom, dad and both of my grandmas! Yay! That makes these boring days bearable. Tomorrow is a big test and then it is the wonderful weekend. Time to unwind and enjoy!

I have gotten to the point of being so bored with commercials that I hit the mute button when they come on. I see all these great spoof videos that make fun of commercials so I know that great commercials can be made. Those people, making the spoofs, are amateurs and yet are so good!
There is a website where even amateurs can create their own commercial and send it to an advertiser. My cousin is a natural at producing video commercials. She is only 12! I would love to see some of her things produced into commercials. She and her mom need to check out Black Turtle Media and see if she meets the requirements to register. It is pretty simple to get signed up.

What a great day! I woke up with nothing to do, and so far i’ve gotten that accomplished.  I have done some laundry and hit the local hot spot (wal-mart) spending only  $20.   Now  I am at the coffee shop in Elizabeth City enjoying the georgous weather.  I have found a roommate to share a place with down in Jacksonville, He’s looking at a place with a pool, how can I say no!  I think the next two years are going to be full of fun.  I’m ready for my family to come visit, and to be home for thanksgiving.  I am hoping for snow in Indiana while i’m there (that’s right I said it, SNOW).  I don’t plan on seeing many flurries in Florida.  Now, for some sweet tea in the sun!

Only 28 more days until I am finished with school! Then I’ll be headed to Florida. I cannot wait to get my stuff out of storage. I hope everything is intact when I get it. I was going to post a new video of the things I have been doing here in class, but I can’t figure it out so I have to wait til my mommy gets home and can walk me through it!  I do have fun news though, after some classroom drama our class has finalized our picks.  We got our orders emailed to us and I will be moving to Jacksonville FL.  One of my class mates is going there to and we’ve decided to room together so we can get a bigger place and perhaps save some money.  It will be nice to already know some one when we get there.  Only a few more weeks and my parents and Grandmas will be here to visit, I am so excited.  I hope they have some requests of things to see when the get here.  Our class is going to the Wright brothers memorial this week to goof around and learn some history.  I’m sure I will have a story or two when we return from there.

Hey mom and dad, in case you are interested, I thought of something I REALLY want for Christmas.

When I was stationed in Louisiana and Hurricane Katrina hit, we were moved up the state for a while. While we were there, a couple of the guys bought air guns and we had so much fun shooting them. It hurts when you get hit so you learn not to get hit!

I want my own air gun so I can get used to the feel and have better aim. I am having trouble deciding between a rifle and a pistol. I really like a pistol but I had so much fun using Cook’s rifle. It was a multi-pump pneumatic. Maybe I should choose the pistol though because you had to cock that rifle. That meant not getting as many shots. They are usually only capable of shooting one round at a time, needing the mechanism to be re-cocked to shoot again. I could get an electric motor type but that gets me away from the look I like. Ok, I choose the pistol. I really like the UHC model UA-937. It holds 6 rounds of BBs. You just pop open the cylinder and pop in the shells.

Lucky you! The pistol is very economical. That is, IF you want to get me one. batting my big brown eyes

There is a new book out that is causing quite a stir. David Michaelis, has written a book about Charles Schulz called Schulz and Peanuts. Charles Schulz created the Snoopy comic strip. The book points out how Schulz told a story through his comic strip. He thinks Schulz’s story was his way of releasing stress and moments of grief. Underlying themes of disappointment and unhappiness can be found, if you look for them.

Michaels was privy to Schulz’s personal files, professional archives and family.

Michaels tells a story about Schulz that is certainly more than Charlie Brown ever let us know.
