Mom posted a great way to come up with your very own band name (on the Pond), in case you ever need one. Which I do, cause I play Guitar Hero all the time and you need a stellar name. My original one was Brody Boy, after our superstar rock dog. To acquire new guitars and songs I need to make more money on the game so I need to start a new band
Treaty of Commerce and Navigation shall be its name, If we had an album it would be called “to excel if possible.” and this would be the cover

thanks mom, sooooo cool!

I went and saw Cloverfield last night. This was the first (and probably last) time in a long while that I went to see a movie on opening night. I have this theory that every now and then you should try doing something you don’t like just to remind yourself why you don’t like it. Like pickles, I hated pickles but I tried eating one when I was at my parents and decided that they are not so bad. Movies on opening night on the other hand. . . I guess I don’t like crowds or people in my personal space bubble. It seemed like every time I tried to move in a direction someone hurried in front of me only to go slower once they got there. Anyhow I’m still digesting the movie and forming an opinion. It was all shot to seem like a home video. There were warnings outside of the theater that motion sickness may occur. So, mom you won’t want to see this one. It was very unique and seeing the monster didn’t ruin the movie like it sometimes does. Cloverfield will leave you thinking, as does any thing by J.J. Abrams.

Well, I have completed my first week of work here in Florida and it feels like everything I learned in E-City flew right out of my head. This is the new chopper I will be attached to for the next few years and I have found I don’t know a thing about them.

Things are great so far, everyone is helpful and excited to show me new things. I think that’s so they won’t have to do those things anymore. I’ve been trying out sushi places around here and am now addicted, of course I usually only eat the rolls that are cooked, baby steps when trying new things.

I have arrived back in Florida, unfortunately it is a bit on the chilly side here. Still warmer than Indiana. The town house looks the same as it did when I left 3 weeks ago, cept my tub was a little different-
-That is Merlin my roommates cat and he thinks it’s his tub. I have been unpacking my crap and it seemed like less stuff when I packed it. I brought every book that was a Christmas or birthday present with me, so very heavy stuff to drag up my newly acquired stairs. I decided since I was putting stuff away that I needed to get a trash can to help which means I HAD to go to the Super Target across the street. They took much more of my money than I thought they were going to. I now have huge trash bags, a toothbrush holder and soap dispenser that match my new bathroom trash can, a paper shredder, brita water filter jug thingy, and a very pretty shower curtain that is too short! SUPER Target.

I have had so much fun being home and seeing some of my old friends. One of my friends is due to have a baby in a few months and another has a baby that is 3 months old. Another friend’s little girl is walking around and is at that fun age where you have to watch her every minute! I know I am going to miss them bunches when I have to leave but it has been fun seeing them for real instead of just in pictures. When I get my pictures developed, I will post some here so I can remember them at these ages.

It kinda bugs me that my mom and dad have a piano in their living room that no one plays. I am thinking about learning to play. There is a fun way to learn by using piano lessons & piano chords taught online. At Playpiano.com I can learn without investing money to make sure that it is something I have fun and time to do. By subscribing to Playpiano’s free piano lessons email newsletter I can learn more about piano chords and chord progressions.

I left sunny Florida to visit my parents and brother in cold and snowy Indiana. It has been great to see old friends and get my stuff ready to move to Florida. I have been boxing up my books and other things so my parents can bring them to me in Florida. All of my furniture is in storage and will be delivered in a few weeks. I miss my tv’s and pots and pans!
I hope everyone has a Happy New Year!
